MUSIC IN MY LIFE

Eleva: Ionescu Sophia

When I am surrounded by music, I feel joy and happiness. Life without music would be gray and sometimes without meaning.

Maybe I am an ordinary child with a taste in music imposed by the ones around me:

  • my parents made me listen to Mozart while growing up, hoping it will affect my intelligence more than genetics will;
  • my grandparents introduced me to folk music, hoping that my feet will feel the beat and Romanian dance hora;
  • my friends keep playing the latest trends, hoping I will be cool.

Sometimes music strikes me like a storm with lightning and thunders and it increases my power and energy. In those moments I feel like I can do anything or at least I try… But there are also times when music brings me the calm and the serenity of a peaceful lake. It is like walking on clouds, hearing harps played by angels … but those are short moments usually spoiled by the soprano voice of my little sister.

Music makes me feel powerful and confident. Every time I listen to it, I feel like my feet can’t stop dancing and I can get through all the obstacles that are trying to stop me.

Life seems wonderful and I want to enjoy every bit of it. Music connects me with nature. I feel that the trees whisper words of wisdom and the wind embraces me and lifts my spirit. In those moments I feel that we all are one and I love everybody and everything around me.

In my happiest moments I hear music even though there is no device around. For example, living by the seaside, I am used to hearing the waves smashing, the seagulls talking, my feet crushing shells and this way a new song may be created…

The right notes at the right time can light up your spirit and bring out your creativity or at least…your best dance moves…

Its carrot-shaped baobab trees and strange-looking lemurs […]

Whole-class Grouping

Bogdan Georgiana Sursa imagine: https://theinspiredclassroom.com/2013/11/how-to-encourage-your-pupils-to-ask-more-questions/ There is no real limit to the way in which teachers can group students in a classroom, though certain factors, such as over-crowding, fixed furniture and entranched student attitudes, may make things problematic. Nevertheless, teaching a class as a whole, getting students to work on their own or […]
